Privacy

This site is static HTML. There is no account to create, no newsletter that requires your name, and no advertising.

No analytics are running. All About Lagos is built on the code of All About Accra, which uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and that code is still here — but it is switched off, and it stays off until there is a Lagos property to send data to and this page has been rewritten to say so. Nothing about your visit is being recorded or sent anywhere.

If that changes, it will be described here before it is switched on.

Your browser stores a little, locally. Ticking a checklist saves the ticks in your own browser so they survive a reload. That never leaves your device and nobody else can read it.

The information on this site

This site is not legal advice, tax advice, immigration advice or medical advice. It is a description of how things work, written by people who are not your lawyer.

Warning

This site is mid-localisation and is not finished. Its figures were seeded from the legislation named against each one and have not yet been checked one by one against the source by a person. Its calculators are not published. Do not rely on anything here for a decision that matters without checking it yourself.

Where a figure appears, it carries a source and a date it was last checked. Where the law and the practice differ, this site tries to say so and to say which is which. Neither of those makes it correct on the day you read it.

Nigerian fees, rates and procedures change without notice, and the office in front of you is the authority on what the office in front of you requires.

The words on this site are its own. The statutes, forms and figures it describes are not, and are quoted for the purpose of explaining them.
